Orange County homestay students get to study near some of the best beaches in southern California. If you are lucky enough to study at one of these schools, you will not be disappointed. Spend your morning in classes, and then grab some friends and head to the beach in the afternoon.
A favorite beach spot for students is Bolsa Chica State beach. If you are a surfer, South Side and North Side Huntington Beach Pier is one of the most famous surf spots of all time.
International students usually arrive at Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) and IHPS does offer airport transfer although the cost is a bit more than the regular rate. The distance from LAX to most of the Orange County homestays is about 45 miles. If you plan to arrive at the Orange County Airport, John Wayne, the cost is the regular rate.
Orange County homestay students will find the year-round weather very pleasant. Summers are warm and ideal to hang at the beach. In the morning you will find a party cloudy marine layer that tends to burn off by noon or 1 PM. Over the course of the year, the temperature typically varies from 45°F to 85°F and is rarely below 38°F or above 93°F.
