Sacramento homestay students will love living in the state capital of California and getting to enjoy all the beauty northern CA has to offer. Sacramento is nicknamed the “City of Trees,” and if you get a chance to head into the Land Park area close to Sacramento City College, you will see how this city got its nickname.

Our Sacramento homestay students attend City College of Sacramento or Cal State Sacramento -ELI. Most of our students are placed within 5 miles of these campuses, and commutes to and from campus each day is fairly easy with the Sacramento public transportation system.

UC Davis is located about 20 mins from downtown Sacramento and in Yolo County. UC Davis is a smaller college town with an urban-suburban feel. Homestay students who study here can use Unitrans which is Davis’ public transportation system or purchase a bike to get around the city.
